Privacy Policy
Last Updated: July 16th, 2025
Welcome to Pipelet.ai! We offer an AI inference platform with serverless endpoints, private model deployments, and batch processing. This Privacy Policy outlines what data we collect, how we use and protect it, and your rights. By using our services, you agree to this Policy. We may update it periodically and notify you of major changes.
1. Information we collect
- Account Info: We collect your name and email to register and manage your account.
- Inference Content: Prompts and outputs from inference may contain personal data. We treat this as confidential and don’t store it beyond processing (see “AI Inference Data Handling” below).
- Payment Info: We use Stripe for payment processing. Your card details go directly to them; we keep basic transaction records only.
- Usage Data: We log IPs, device/browser info, visited pages, and request timestamps to improve service and security. This may be linked to your account.
- Communications: We store messages you send (support, sales, feedback) to respond and improve service.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Service Delivery: To operate Pipelet.ai, manage your account, authenticate access, and process inference requests.
- Communication: To send account updates, invoices, or service alerts. You may opt out of marketing messages.
- Payments: For billing, transaction processing, and receipts. Stripe handles sensitive payment data.
- Improvement & Analytics: We analyze usage trends to improve performance and features, using aggregated or anonymous data where possible.
- Security & Legal Compliance: We monitor activity to prevent abuse, investigate violations, and comply with legal obligations.
- Consent-Based Uses: We’ll explicitly request your permission for any use beyond this policy.
- Data Ownership: Your inference data is yours. We don’t use it for training, advertising, or profiling.
3. AI Inference Data Handling
- Real-Time Inference: Prompts and outputs are processed in memory and deleted immediately after.
- Batch Inference: Temporary encrypted storage may be used for up to 30 days to complete and deliver results, then deleted.
- No Training Use: Your input/output won’t be used to train models unless you opt in explicitly.
- Limited Access: Our team only accesses data for debugging with your permission.
- Metadata: We log non-content data (timestamps, model used, size) for billing and performance monitoring.
4. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar tools to keep you logged in, remember preferences, and analyze site usage. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser. Disabling cookies may affect site functionality. We honor “Do Not Track” signals.
5. How We Share and Disclose Information
- Service Providers: We use third parties (e.g., Stripe, Cloudflare) to operate our services. They receive only necessary info and must safeguard your data.
- Business Transfers: Your data may be transferred if Pipelet.ai is sold or reorganized, under similar privacy protections.
- Legal Compliance: We may share data to comply with law and court orders. We’ll notify you when possible.
- Aggregated Data: Non-personal, anonymized data may be shared for research, marketing, or analysis.
6. Data Security
We use industry-standard protections to secure your data:
- Encryption: All communication uses HTTPS/TLS. Stored sensitive data is encrypted.
- Access Control: Only authorized staff can access systems and data, following privacy/security training.
- Infrastructure Security: Our platform uses hardened cloud infrastructure and services like Cloudflare.
- Policies: We maintain internal protocols, conduct audits, and notify you of breaches. No system is 100% secure however, so use strong passwords, keep them secure, and notify us of any issues.
7. Data Retention
- Account Data: Kept while your account is active. Deleted or anonymized after closure, except for legal/business needs.
- Inference Data: Deleted immediately (real-time) or after a short retention window (batch).
- Communications: Retained as needed to resolve issues or improve service.
- Analytics: Aggregated data may be kept longer for system improvements and audits.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights including:
- Access/Portability: See what personal data we hold and receive a copy.
- Correction/Deletion: Update or request deletion of your data, with legal exceptions.
- Opt-Out: We don’t sell data, but we honor “Do Not Sell” or targeted advertising opt-outs.
- Limit Sensitive Data Use: You may restrict how we use sensitive data if collected.
- Exercising Rights: Contact us to make requests. We may verify your identity. No discrimination for exercising rights. You can appeal decisions or contact regulators if unresolved.
9. International Data Transfers
If you're outside the U.S., your data may be processed in countries with different privacy laws. We use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect it.
10. Children’s Privacy
Pipelet.ai is not for children under 13 (or 16 where applicable). We don’t knowingly collect their data. If we discover such collection, we delete it. Parents should monitor children’s internet use.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may revise this Policy as needed. The updated version will have a new “Last Updated” date. For major changes, we’ll provide prominent notice. Continued use means you accept the updates.
