Terms of Service

Last Updated: July 16th, 2025

Welcome to Pipelet.ai! By accessing or using our AI inference platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you’re registering on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to this agreement. Please read carefully.

1. Interpretation & Definitions

Throughout this document, capitalized terms have specific meanings:

  • Account: your registered user profile, access credentials, API key(s), and any related usage history.
  • Company: refers to Pipelet.ai, the entity providing the Service.
  • Service: the entire AI inference platform, including APIs, compute infrastructure, dashboards, and developer tools.
  • Endpoint: an API-based interface for running a specific model or inference task.
  • Batch Job: a queued or asynchronous process for submitting large datasets for inference.
  • Output: the result produced by the model(s) based on your input.
  • Content: includes both your Input (data you provide) and Output (model-generated results).

2. The Services

We provide an AI inference platform that enables:

  • Serverless Endpoints: access to shared, multi-tenant model APIs that deliver low-latency inference without requiring infrastructure management. These are ideal for quick prototyping, testing, and lightweight deployment scenarios.
  • Private Deployments: single-tenant infrastructure allocated to a specific user or organization. You control what models are loaded and have isolated access to hardware, including GPUs, for dedicated workloads and more predictable performance. These deployments may include uptime targets or SLAs if explicitly agreed upon.
  • Batch Processing: a mode for submitting large sets of data for asynchronous inference. Batch jobs are queued and processed in the background, with results made available for download once complete. This is useful for non-interactive, high-throughput workflows.

We may enhance, discontinue, or change features. When possible, we’ll notify users in advance of major changes, but we reserve the right to act without notice to maintain performance, comply with laws, or protect system integrity.

3. Who Can Use This

You must:

  • Be at least 18 years old: or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and legally permitted to use the Service.
  • Secure your Account: including login credentials, API keys, and all access methods. You’re responsible for all activity associated with your Account, whether or not authorized by you.
  • Report misuse: notify us promptly of any unauthorized use or security breach involving your Account or keys.

If you’re using the Service on behalf of a business or team, you’re responsible for ensuring that all authorized users comply with these Terms.

4. Free & Paid Plans

We offer:

  • Free Tier: limited usage without payment, including access to selected endpoints with quota caps or throttling. Features and availability may change without notice.
  • Paid Plans: subscription-based or pay-as-you-go access with increased capacity, priority processing, and access to private deployments.

You agree to:

  • Maintain valid payment information: and authorize us to charge it for fees incurred.
  • Pay on time: invoices or charges are billed monthly, unless otherwise specified in your plan. Usage charges may be computed based on API calls, GPU time, tokens processed, or other relevant metrics.
  • Cover overdue amounts: including interest or collection fees. We may suspend access for unpaid balances or fraudulent activity.

5. API Usage & Rate Limits

You agree to:

  • Comply with usage limits: outlined in our documentation or pricing page. We may update limits to maintain system performance.
  • Avoid excessive traffic: including bursts of API calls, misuse of retries, or parallelization tactics that exceed normal usage expectations.
  • Not circumvent restrictions: including by registering multiple accounts or redistributing access.

Misuse may result in throttling, temporary suspension, or account termination. We may monitor usage for compliance.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate laws or third-party rights: including intellectual property, data protection, and export control laws.
  • Access or tamper with infrastructure: such as scanning, probing, or exploiting vulnerabilities.
  • Spread malware or automated abuse: including bots, scrapers, or coordinated attacks.
  • Reverse engineer or replicate our platform: unless expressly allowed by law or a separate agreement.
  • Submit restricted or illegal data: including PII, protected health information, or other sensitive data unless we explicitly permit it under contract.

Repeated or egregious violations may result in permanent termination and legal action.

7. Your Content & Outputs

  • You own your Content: including Inputs and Outputs. We do not claim ownership.
  • We only use it to operate the Service: we do not store it longer than needed.
  • We will not train our models on your Content: unless you give us written permission.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring lawful usage: only submit content you have rights to use.
  • Avoiding sensitive data: unless explicitly covered by a separate agreement (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR contracts).
  • Respecting others’ rights: do not upload content that infringes third-party IP or privacy.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate this section.

8. Privacy & Data Protection

We take data privacy seriously. See our full Privacy Policy.Highlights:

  • Your control: export, delete, or review your personal data via your Account or by contacting support.
  • GDPR/CCPA compliance: we honor data subject rights and international obligations.

We may process and store some usage metadata (e.g., API metrics) for system operations, billing, and diagnostics.

9. Intellectual Property

  • Our rights remain ours: including source code, architecture, documentation, models (unless third-party licensed), and branding.
  • You receive a limited license: for legitimate internal use only.
  • No sublicensing, copying, or framing: without written permission.

  • Any warranties: express or implied (merchantability, fitness, non-infringement).
  • Guarantees of output quality: AI may generate flawed or biased content. Human review is advised.
